Located near Gisborne Airport in Eastland, this solar farm uses 8,000 photovoltaic modules to generate enough renewable electricity to power the equivalent of 1,000 typical homes.
This 5MW solar farm connects to the electricity distribution network at 11kV and is expected to generate over 7GWh of electricity annually. This is an Eastland Generation-owned plant that was designed and built by Infratec.
